- Tour D’Coop – Urban Ministries of Wake County presents this tour of more than 20 backyard chicken coops, bee hives and local gardens on Saturday.
- Lunch Bag Comedy Hour – Saturday at Morgan Street Food Hall.
- Rock & Brew – Head to Lafayette Village and join Mouse Dreams Foundation for a fun filled day of live music and specialty beers, featuring R&D Brewing! This is a kid friendly event for all ages.
- 15th Annual Beaver Queen Pageant – Contestants take on beaver personalities and compete for the title of Beaver Queen with their fashion, talent and personality … at Duke Park on Saturday.
- Band Together Main Event – St. Paul and The Broken Bones headline this concert at Red Hat Amphitheatre. They will be joined by Toots and The Maytals. Proceeds go to Band Together’s nonprofit partner, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle
- NC Symphony Presents: A Space Spectacular – In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing, the Symphony performs selections from Holst’s The Planets, the Star Wars saga, and more. Saturday at Booth Amphitheatre.
- Sit, Stay, NCMA Movie Party with Isle of Dogs – at the North Carolina Museum of Art on Saturday.
