Ashley Capps, Pastry Chef at the Buxton Hall BBQ in Asheville, is this week’s featured Sound Palate guest.
Although Ashley is a pastry chef, she decided to go with one of her favorite late night snack plates. Of course, this varies according to what’s in her pantry or refrigerator at any given time!
This week it’s Parrano cheese (her current favorite) mixed with a couple other soft and hard cheeses, with roasted fresh figs, slab of mustard, date molasses, honey, smoked almonds ant bitter greens. Ashley paired this snack plate with Future Islands “Inch of Dust.”
