What is your Greatest Achievement?
Founded green gives back- service organization for student athletes.
How has participating in high school athletics benefited you?
The effort I’ve put into football, the coaching and guidance I’ve received, and the lessons I’ve learned have had a profound impact on my character, leadership, service, and academics. I’ve learned the importance of hard work as I went from a broken ankle freshman year, to All‐ Conference my junior year. I’ve learned the importance of giving back to the community that supports our team every Friday night, win or lose. I’ve learned to balance a rigorous academic workload with the responsibilities of playing a team sport. And I’ve made strong bonds with teammates and coaches, who will be my friends and mentors for life.
What made you decide to play the sport for which you were named the Penn Station Athlete of the Season?
My passion for football started while watching Saints games with my parents on Sundays. This soon translated to throwing the Nerf football around with my friends at lunch in elementary school, pretending to be the star quarterback tossing the game winning pass, or making that one‐handed catch in the end zone. Those experiences inspired me to join a team when I was in elementary school, and I’ve been in love with the sport ever since.
