Family dog, Buddy, was found protecting his 3-year-old best friend who had wandered off into the woods.

According to the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, “Telecommunications Center received a 911 call from a frantic mother whose 3-year-old son was playing outside with his siblings and wandered away.”

Thankfully, a neighbor found the boy and dog a short while later, but Buddy wouldn’t let him anywhere near the child.
